The Up Center offers a robust internship experience that encompasses a variety of clinical and professional skill building components to ensure interns feel confident and prepared to enter the counseling field as compassionate and knowledgeable mental health professionals.
At The Up Center, under the clinical supervision & direction of Dr. Brentia Caldwell-Smith, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Interns will:
- Facilitate Individual, Family, & Group Counseling
- Provide Clinical and Administrative Support for Immigration Evaluation Services
- Conduct Administrative Tasks (1-2 Hours Weekly)
- Provide Social Media Maintenance (1 Hour Weekly)
- Participate in Weekly Clinical Supervision with Director
- Participate in Collaborative Mental Health Partnership Meetings
