Maya Fuller is an Associate Professional Counselor and the Director of Diversion Programs here at The Up Center. Maya received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from King University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University.
Maya has experience working with adolescent and adult clients with the majority of her counseling experience centered around mandated treatment with adult felons. She enjoys the challenge and reward of working with clients who initially have a negative bias towards mental health circumstances and needs. In working with clients who may be considered to have controversial backgrounds, she has a proven track record of being able to establish an empathetic and trusting therapeutic environment. Maya’s professional training and skills allow her to assist her clients with navigating traumatic transitional periods.
Maya specializes in court-mandated counseling services and facilitates our Anger Management Program here at The Up Center. Maya has an established expertise of addressing trauma, grief, depressive symptoms, and anxiety with justice-involved individuals and those seeking support for improved emotional regulation.
Maya provides therapeutic services under the clinical and licensure supervision of Brentia Caldwell, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS.
